Leave it to Tamiya to come up with a design that encloses the pinion/spur... Altho, I'll bet it'll be a fairly decent basher, I can't see it on the same track as a Mugen or Kyosho.

Looks pretty innovative tho.

That's pretty cool!

I like that trans idea. Different take on the "truggy". Looks like they tried to lean more towards the "truck" side instead of the "buggy" side. Although, I wonder how a dog-bone will hold up under those kinds of RPM's. For axles, they don't see the actual engine RPM's. They are always considerably slower.

The pipe kind of sucks...
