NAH, imma try and do this one as scale as possible, so nope. Would definatly help though, steering radius of these things suck. Especially with locked diffs.

lol,it's in scale,maybe that's why...
in one world they are great as shelf queens but otherwise they suck.
at least that is what I'm thinking and I do have to say that if I had spare £400 I would buy one as well just for fun of building it.

The build is just amazing. you have to put EVERY LITTLE THING in. The coolest thing to build was the leaf springs. (so far)

I just dropped off the body to an inmate in our fleet garage, with the color code to my 1:1. so its gona have the exact same paint as my 1:1. can't wait to see it.

Now that's cool! Just hope it doesn't come back with stripes, or inmate orange :D

Hey isn't that contraband?

Only for his cellmate. :farting: He said itll be roughly a week before it will be done, due to 1:1's hes gotta finish. But that should be enough time for me to complete the build.

i have the waterproof esc on my boat and its been soaked many times with no issues. i just put the rx in a baloon and zip tied the end. its been basically underwater a few times as well with no issues. looks great man!! i should get one to pull the boat. that would be sweet!

Yea, custom trailer and paint on the boat are next. Just need to figure easiest way to put a hitch on the truck.........

that's not bad,but I would possibly build it in one day,lol...
when I got new toy I just have to take it apart and put it all together,it's just my obsession!

Hell, at the rate you have been building this, it should be done around midnight. :D

It would be just a couple of days, but I'm on a night/swing shift.

This is not a 1 day build. i promise you that

OMG !!! U r as bad as me Bartek !!!

I was considering crew cabbing it, but it is my first rig, and i know i could do the body stretch, but i dont have any way of stretching the chassis.

Nothing new chassis rails and a longer drive shaft wouldnt solve i would have thought. Then again, i could be wrong

Use bending bars and a piece of brass sheet.

Bending bars = 2 flat metal plates bolted together, with a secondary, hinged front end to do the bending.

I use them in model Railways to make bits n pieces i need. Extremely useful tool too.

Mind you, i made mine a while back. Would not be without them now.

Girlfriend was sick when i got home, so not too much time to play:

Got Shifting servo installed and connected. Being i have a 2 way 3rd channel, i can't shift low, mid, high, but i have it set up to shift low, high. Crawling and torque, then top speed.

Also got the steering servo setup and ready to be installed.

Like i said, not to much done tonight. Luckly/unluckly she will be going to see her parents tomorrow, so i might be able to get some work done.

I Hope your using a 2.4GHz Radio system for this rig, kinda expensive not to be.

The build just keeps getting better and better. Keep up the good work.

Here's hoping your G/F gets well soon m8.

I tried it with the spektrum radio, but it wouldnt work correctly. But at least the top speed of this thing is only like 15 mph, so i could easily catch it if it runs away.
