If you can't find one someone is selling, it may be your only option. JC-RC is well known for parting out Tamiya kits, and having the parts you can't buy new anywhere else. Maybe your wanted thread will pan out though. Without the lights attached to it it looks just like the one on your 1:1.

That thing is class. James! I remember a blurb in Xtreme RC Cars about scale shocks that look like Rancho shocks. I am trying (but thus far failing) to find the part manufacturer. Anyone else see them?

RC4WD makes a white scale shock, with an optional red boot like ranchos, but they do not perform well at all. That's why I made my own from xxx-nt shocks

Once you get the red off of the shocks, polish them up they don't stick out like a sore thumb, looks much better IMO. I did mine and got the offroad decal sheet from RPP mainly for the Rancho shock decals.

If i were doing a "stock" build up, i'd go with the rancho, but I'm going with my setup..... SUPERLIFT!!! but my 3 favorites in order are

1. Superlift
2. Fabtech
3. procomp
