but it dont take forever to get there I've got a 25 size engine so hush your lip
it takes about 2secs to get to 57 I've speed tested it with a standard venom speed tester

Either you're a dumbass or you don't have a .25 in it... Your FIRST post on RCNT was asking how fast it'd go w/ a .18. Now, why would you ask that if you already have a .25 in there that you're bragging about? I mean, you have it in there and are making claims of 57mph to everyone, so you must be happy w/ it enough to keep that engine in there...

Again, I think you're full of poop w/ the 0-57 in 2 secs. Yes 57 is possible w/ your .25, but no way in hell in 2 secconds. There is not a single off-road rc around that does that...and as I recall, RB and Novarossi don't make .25's, so again, you're full of poop.

Now, if you mean 57KMPH that's a different story...

And, again, SPEED ISN'T EVERYTHING.

And, as beason said: "prove it, or shut it"

actually the 2.5 is a .15 engine.....2.5cc = .15ci
as far as the 57mph....it's not unbeleivable but after seeing real clocked speeds and how the cars "look" faster but were only going high 30s when these guys were spewing numbers of high 50s....I gotta say until I see it clocked, I find it hard to believe....HAVE you actually clocked it or just going by traxxas specs??

On the subject of rally cars, HPI made/makes an RS4-(?) Rally model. A buddy of mine bought one and it had a lot of parts in common with the MT4 from HPI. It was based on the RS4 design, but apparently a certain number of MT4 parts also fit, which allowed the height increase for ground clearance, such as the shocks and shock towers. Even had a fake driver and cockpit/interior!!

Sorry, but a RWD ST with that much power will have a REAL hard time hooking up,and a REALLY hard time hooking up in 2 seconds.

you must mean MT2... anyway, I was talking bout that you can convert the Nitro rs4 3 TC into a rally car fairly easy. Hpi used to have a tut. on their website, but now their website sux ass so I can't even get to it (I know where it is, but I just can't get to it.)

Oh, I've heard it all now.

If you really believe that, you are 8 years old.

You know, I bet that's it! I still haven't seen it because he's been really busy and we live about 25 minutes apart. I've sent the link to him to see what he says. I think he paid full price, too.....he's not going to like seeing it for $115 less! (lol)

2 seconds to 57 mph? I don't even think that's possible! That's faster than a REAL Lamborghini!

Its not faster than the top fuel rails... Thats pretty much what these are... :hammer:

Top fuel rails.....as in those cars that are going like 320 mph in 4.5 seconds? Nope, not even close to one of those!

I thought it was closer to 3 seconds... But... if you scaled up the speed... it would be close...

The fastest Top Fuel Nitro Funny Car run ever was 333.58 MPH in 4.665 seconds. The fast Top Fuel record is 336.45 MPH. And the quickest Top Fuel elapsed time is 4.441 seconds for the quarter mile. I pulled these figures off nitrofuelers.com.

Anyway, I saw my friend's wife's car, the CEN Mini Cooper, and got to drive it, too. I a complete newbie to all this stuff, but I'd have to say that car is pretty easy to drive. It's still not fully broken in, but it moves pretty good. It handles so incredibly well. I guess that's typical of 4wd cars. It was so awesome sliding around turns in an easily controlled fashion. It's almost like driving one of those cars in the Play Station Games, like Grand Tourismo. It brakes on a dime, too. For parking lots, that thing is awesome. Hearing it shift gears is a small rush in itself. It was way more fun than his nitro Evader, at least in the parking lot. You can't really gas his Evader because it just wheelies itself into a back flip. If you get it up to speed first, you can gas it, but the high school parking lot that we're using just isn't big enough. I'm still going to get the Jato, though, although in the future I might end up picking one of those things up, too.
