Do any of you disassemble a new mill to clean it out and check for metal shavings? I was doing some reading and someone said they do it every new mill they get.

lubrication, ARO will do fine. On the bearing it is recommended to use a thin oil like ARO. Some tear the whole engine down whereas some will tear it down where the carb , backplate are off to seal them for possible air leaks.

Thanks guys, looks like I'll take a look at the inside of the 3.3 when it gets here.

Ah, did you get a new Revo 3.3 or just the mill? You dirty bastard!

Dirty bastard? You can't see it but I'm blushing

I got the Revo 3.3, should have it tomorrow!

Your going to love that 3.3, it puts the 2.5r to shame!

Thats great to hear, I'm not as patient as Jon2, I'm going to start that puppy up as soon as I install the foc and go through the mill.

Who said I was patient? I got the spool diff, P3 Rockers and pushrods, 23mm Crazy Nut Racing adapters. 23mm Wabash rims. Deciding on tires. Once I get the Pushrods I will see about getting the lunsford TB replacements....

Heck I am looking at the springs and the anodized shock bodies too. ...

You have had it for more than a day and you haven't started it yet...IMO thats patient LOL. Nice list of extras you have there, but why the p3 rockers?

Well, good for you, Maxxin! I've heard nothing but great things about that rig! If Jon2 hasn't started it, yes, he is patient (among other things). I'd of had that thing broken in by now!

And yeah, Jon2, why the P3's? You planning on doing your own version of "Monster Jam"?
