Unfortunately I no longer have the Ecx Ruckus or the Mini E Revo, but it is maybe like an inch or 2 shorter and an inch narrower than the revo.

Start with the brushless version instead of starting with the brushed and upgrading to the brushless, they are completely different trucks, brushless model has aluminum chassis, aluminum shocks, aluminum shock towers, different diffs and slipper clutch.

I noticed that yours had aluminum shocks and shock towers but didn't realize that the brushed didn't, but I also haven't researched them much yet. If I get one, it would be the brushless one then. If the only difference was the motor and esc for $70, I probably would have gotten the brushed and upgraded the motor and esc to what I wanted, but not for all of those differences.

Diffs are actually filled with fluid, I am going to assume it is 3000 cst as that is what LC Racing has in the manual for the buggy and the truggy.

Esc is a Hobbywing WP 1625.

Radio is kind of smallish but feels nice only has steering dual rates and steering and throttle trim.

Had some family in town and went up to Deadwood, was there for all of 5 minutes and won $280 off of $5. LC Racing emb-tgh here we come lol
Nice! Let me know how that one goes too! Are you going to get the kit or the rtr? I normally have the luck of winning $5 off of $280 when it comes to money things.

Well first run was kind of a disappointment. Decided to see how it did on the stock 1100mah 6 cell nimh battery, it lacks power but has decent speed. It can only get over the jumps at the homemade rc track if you get a run at it first, if you try to start at the bottom of the jump it doesn't have enough power to get going.

Ran a few laps then decided to hit the big jump a few times. Found out that the diff output cups are composite the front one snapped off. I guess this is a downside to it having a locked spur. I could try to use the stock part https://www.nitrorcx.com/25p-l6076.html or try the metal one https://www.nitrorcx.com/25p-l6013.html, in order to change the rear to metal I have to change out to the slipper clutch setup. I do not know if the slipper is a direct drop in or not.

I think that since I am in there changing all that stuff out I will also swap over to the adjustable motor mount so I can change out the pinion. I should have just bought the damn brushless one to begin with

The 3 pack of pinions are 1/8th in bore and the brushed motor shaft is 2mm........... so I'll have to order an adapter sleeve. Nitrorcx doesn't have any sort of description or specifications listed for anything.

Got everything installed and did the double bearing mod on the slipper shaft while I was in there.

Second bash session with the Valor was pretty fun, this thing can take a good beating, idk how many times I bounced this thing off the car tires around the track. And I still cannot tell what this body is made out of but it's holding up very well. But yes sadly it is overgeared, after the end of the first 1700mah 2s pack I had a reading of 170* at the hottest spot on the motor.

Made some progress on the build so far. I will say I am quite enjoying this build, much better than the SCX10-II. You are not constantly going back and forth between bags of stuff. You open bag A and use everything in bag A then go on to bag B then use everything in bag B then go on to bag C and ect, with the SCX10-II I was constantly going back and forth between bags of hardware it was very annoying. The only bag that I had to go back into so far was a bag listed as C/D with the sway bars in it, the front suspension was in bag C and the rear was in bag D, so having to go back into that bag wasn't a big deal. The C bag did contain 2 2.6 x 6mm screws that I have no idea where they go.

The A bag - diffs.

They're so tiny.

Bag B - shocks

TiNi shock shafts so silky smooth.

Bag C - front suspension

And my personal favorite the D bag - rear suspension

Painted up my body and as I was putting on my stickers I looked at the body then did a face palm and noticed I forgot to mask the windows..............

Lol I did that on my body for my MT410. I had a dumb moment and for some reason I thought the windows were stickers that went on the outside and didn't bother to check before I started spraying. At least yours is a dark color so it isn't as noticable. I did mine on a bright neon orange body LOL.

I think I might have an idea but idk how it's going to look and I do not remember this stuff being easy to remove.
