I'm putting together a kit for setting up and racing my pair of Micro-Bs. I want it to all fit in a rolling duffel that I have. I couldn't find any fold flat jumps that fit inside. So, I built some with my dad this week. I have some corner dots and a little garden hose for track border. It all works well together!

Nice, will be working on an indoor track myself, always looking for cool ideas.

It is a 1442. I've turned a few simple projects on it. Some pepper grinders, a shift knob for my classic car.

My dad used to race with me when I was a teenager. So he's the perfect guy to help me put together a portable race track!

I'm not sure what color I'm going to paint these. We just threw on some primer. I'll probably go with a green to match the duffel bag. I also grabbed my old race car. I'm going to start racing vintage class.

Glad you and your pops got things to bond over. Sweet buggy also. My cars are stored in a wood and metal shop. Right beside me is a 1442 that needs a new motor. I haven't messed with it but am eyeballing the metal lathe and mill.

We are going to be using the lathe to repair a yo-yo of mine. It's a completely wooden Yo-Yo made of purpleheart with a walnut axle. The axle and both sides fit together with threads in the wood. The axle busted. We are going to use the lathe to drill a precise hole in the center and put in some 1/4" walnut dowel.

Please be sure to fill us in.

I got some purple heart stips and some red cherry i think. One day I'm gonna do a scale interior with it for my 66 k20.
