T-maxx possible braking issue

Hey everybody, so as a lot of you probably know, I justcompletely re-sealed the my trx 2.5 engine on my t maxx because of some running issues, youll be happy to know, it runs do much better now! But the main reason I’m posting this thread is because of an issue since I got it (I got it used) but when ever I apply brakes at half speed and higher, it makes this horrible snapping noise, and I just can't figure out for the life of me what it is. Hopefully somebody can help me, I tried to get a video but apparently I can't post video here sadly, but thank you anyway!

check the gears in your rear and front diff. they might need some shimming.. now they might be slipping inside so you can see it but hear it

If it's an audible click over the engine, likely a diff. Usually the front one gets most of the braking force, so I'd start there.
