i am kindof getting sick of my buggy and the whole nitro scene and was thinking of switching to electric. i want something easier to maintain. does anyone know what vehicle is good? it can be any brand. i was looking at the rustler but i dont rilly know whats good and I'm on a budget now because I've been spending 2 much lately. does anyone know of a good electric rc car thats cheap, durable, powerful and fast.
i only want to spend like $300.00 tops including batteries and packs. does anyone know of anything, any brand and any type buggy, truck, truggy, monster, car that meets those standards? iwould prefer a offroad vehicle.
thanks a bunch, toolmakerman48

Edit: sorry I'm not that clear when i type of what i am trying to say, summary: whats a good electric rc car thats cheap?
Edit #2: if $300 isnt enough or its better to just buy a better one then i could just wait a few more weeks and save more if its rilly worth it. reply any helpful suggestions please, thanks

When I think of a durable inexpensive electric rig, the Traxxas Rustler and Slash always come to mind.

thats a good idea except i want both :) mostly because i would let my brother use the other one so we could RACE...

Slash... no contest. Its a lil slow at stock..... but you can always upgrade to bl and lipo.

thanks I'm getting that.. i youtubed the slash and it looks sweet. thanks alot

Agreed, but I have noticed, watching someone messing with the Rustler some, the Slash just seems to be more fun than the Rusty also. I guess it's that realism effect.

I ended up getting both the slash and later the rustler so my son and i could race... and I like the rustler better. It's a little smaller and is better handling on offroad. Just my opinion after running both on the new backyard track :)

Do the Rustys have a little wider track width than the slash? I've never taken a close look at a slash, but I would imagine that it's similar to the rusty, the biggest difference being it's narrower? Or are they completely different all together?
