Starting Trouble... Need Help

So I go to start up my Traxxas Sport, and to my dismay, I coldnt get the darn thing going!

I had recently put in a new brake, and mind you it had started in the past, very easily.

Anyways, I thought I may have flooded the engine, so I did the clearance process and nothing abnormal came out.

After that I readjusted the Carb. to the specs in the manual thinking that might be the problem.

No fix.
I did notice that the shaft for the bell clutch was spinning, and the bell itself was not. I'm not sure if thats normal or not, I dont recall.

I ended up heating it up to about 110 degrees and tried several different glo plugs.

Basically, I am out of ideas...
Anyone kind enough to suggest anything I perhaps may be overlooking?

The clutch is normal, you're fine there. Are you using an eazy start? If so try using a regular glow ignitor instead of the eazy start blue wire. There's known problems there with the glow function of the eazy start.

Did you make sure that the GP was glowing? If it was glowin did you see fuel prime up when you tryed to start the eng.

I tried the easy start and normal glow ingnitor both...
I got a ton of fumes but no ignition...
The plugs were in realtively good condition as well...

Have you verified that the glow ignitor is working? You said you tried both the E-Z Start and normal glow ignitor, but you never said whether or not they were working.

Put a plug in the end of the ignitor and make sure the coils in the plug glow bright orange. If the coils do not glow and you know that plug is good (i.e. it's a new plug) then the ignitor is the problem.

From what you describe, it's got to be either the plug or the ignitor. It just doesn't sound like it's getting any fire.

I didnt not actually check if the plug lit. Ill have to give that a try... thanks. I did try two different ones, but didnt check either other than if the coil was intact.

We're they new plugs? It doesn't sound like you are using new plugs

this might sound simple but you'd be surprised how many people forget. have you put fuel in the engine? have you put all fuel tubing right? when first starting if you have trouble put a bit of fuel down the plug, heat up the crankcase and put the trim on your remote all the way up. If that dont work buy another engine, lol
