For starters (No pun intended)
- Igniter batt charged : Charge it
- Glow-plug broken : Replace it
- Fuel reaching carb : Check fuel lines
I check my glow-plugs by either a continuity test (w/a circuit tester) or just by holding it and insert it into the fully charged igniter, being careful not to insert it fully or you'll have a tough time removing it (HOT) but just enough that it completes a circuit. If it glows, great.. If not, well try another.
Just another thought, you might try trimming the throttle open w/your remote a bit for a quick start (like a choke) just to get it started, but if you have to do this chances are when you hit the brakes it'll die on you. The proper fix is to adjust the throttle slide opening 1-2mm depending on your engine/carb combo.
Anything else would be more model specific I think.
These are some of the solutions I've succeeded with.
