stampede problem!!!!!

ok my buddys got an older stampede. its the 2wd. hes got the velenion brushless kit in it. well it was working fine untill the other day. now we can't seem to keep the driveshafts on it, they keep popping off. tried new driveshafts they pop off. any one got any ideas??? the driveshafts r the older ones with 2 set screws. it doesn't have the one were it goes all the way through.

If you're referring to the slider shafts that go from the wheels to the transmission case, I'm gonna say you're going to need the newer style long pins (that go all the way through), and the metal cups wound't be a bad idea either. I ended up doing CVD drives with mine.

ya i was talking about slider shafts. any way i can just drill the hole in these to tie it over untill he can get down to the lhs?? or ya think itll be a bad idea?

I would get the heavy duty 4X4 slash axles personally

at the moment he doesn't have alot of $$$$$$ but i was thinking if i could i have a couple slider shafts with the longer pins. just didnt know if it would be ok if i drilled the hole in the ones he has now so he can atleast run it.

After he gets some $$, have him get 1x 2382 and 2x 6852x that will solve his problems and should be under $30.

just looked up on the lhs its gonna cost him right around 18 bucks
