SCX6 + Stampede 4x4 went to the Sand Dunes

Went to the Pismo Sand Dunes in the weekend, and I bought my SCX6 + Stampede 4x4 RC trucks.
They like them a lot that some even hooked and started ordering RC trucks lol.

and the sand dunes is no joke, you don't know what on the other side of a stiff slope.

Shouldn't that SCX6 have a flag on it at the dunes?

I washed it with car shampoo and used air compressor to blow it off, still rust everywhere (screws, joint, shocks) in the next morning. So I used wd40 to spray on, tried to roll the car and made the suspension articulate to take in the fluid. Hope fully nothing is seize up.
if next time, I should just spays rust protection before running in salty terrains.
