So i put a 3s 6400mah lipo in my stampede 4x4 vxl well with in 5 mins i snapped a rear axle. Ok went to the hobby store and picked a pair of rears for it. Went back to the park, let my wife use it this time, told here to go easy on it and she was and... yup snapped the other rear this time! Is there any heavier axles that i can put in this thing? Dont like changing them every 10 mins :\ Would backing off the clutch help some as well?

But it sure gets out of its way wow!

You can also use the Heavy Duty Axels from the Slash 4X4 (I believe its the fronts? Id have to look up the exact part number.) Thats what I use on my Rusty when I want to run 3S. Of course the steel ones Woodie mentioned will definately hold up but they are a little more expensive.

The Slash 4x4 and Stampede 4x4 use the same rear axles, 6852x. Are you sure you're using that part #? I upgraded the axles on my Nitro Rustler to these and have yet to break one, I was breaking the stock ones every time I went out. Now I know my nitro won't have the torque of your electric, but I have actually tried breaking mine. I have Bad Horsie locking grease in my diff, and have done multiple WOT landings with my slipper locked along with WOT cartwheels without letting off.

The 'HD Traxxas' is what i have in there now. Going to go to the local hobby shop tomorrow and see if they have those MIP axles.

thanks guys
Andrew
