Spur Gears Slipper Eliminator

Eliminating the slipper is a bad idea. When you eliminate the slipper, you put more strain on the engine and transmission if you land wrong or have the wheels stop suddenly.

Probably a bad idea if the rig came with a slipper....But, on occasion I run without a slipper on some of my custom builds. Just know there is a chance that you may do damage to the drive train without it and weight the choice to whether any gain might outweigh the consequences, or vise-versa.

If you have a rock solid drivetrain then you can eliminate it. I run my XL with a locked slipper and have not had any issues. Now if you start doing backflips and landing at WOT then it might not be a good idea.

The slipper is there for a reason, if you eliminate it you WILL have problems, rock solid drivetrain or not, if its a Custom Build like some that snook man build, thats one thing, but for a basher or a racer, your gonna break something.

The only time I have found that its a good idea to lock a slipper (and its actually mandatory) is if your into doing high speed 100+MPH runs. You have to lock the slipper or you'll burn it up. The down side is when I wreck I have a tendancy to break stuff that wouldnt normally break otherwise.

,,,greywolf74 has the right idea. and a Q would not the locked work on a dragster?

it's all in what your driving on and how your driving.bad idea if doing flips or just bashing around.but,if your rock, hill climbing or doing speed runs then yeah.but just remember when you wreck your gonna tear up alot more if it lands just right.

BREAKING STUFF IS PART OF HAVING FUN,AND BEING EXTREME.
