I bought this for my son when he was 5, so about 7 years ago. He doesn't care much for it now, but I hold on to the memories of him bashing it at the skate park and his friends taking turns driving it in the strwet in front of our house. I think it's time for some TLC. I'm going to start with the LCG conversion kit I just ordered from Amazon.

Yup! I know so much more about RC cars now. About 7-8 years ago is when I started. I'm going to check out jennys rc as well; maybe pick up some updated driveshafts and gears depending on what the inside of the transmission looks like.

I looked into upgrading the transmission to the magnum 272r, but that's way more money than I want to put into this.
I like the RPM case myself, its one of the only 2wd Traxxas gesrboxes thst uses seperate rear suspension arm mounts.

Well, that savox servo with the cut wires won't fit on the new chassis (the top sticks out too much) so I put a Hitec that I had laying around (my backup SCX6 shifting servo). I'll probably replace it at some point, because it is a very slow servo.

Well, that will have to do for now. Sometime soon I'll pick up some updated driveshafts, maybe upgrade to the magnum272r transmission, put in a hobbywing max10, add some new wheels/tires, and perhaps a new body with the clipless mounts... You know... go completely overboard for no good reason 🤣
