sportwerks clutch springs for XL?

Local rc shop just sold me a set of sportwerks swk3196 black clutch springs for my XL, he said they were the same as stock. Are these ok? The ones in it are gold as you guys likely know.

According to an eBay listing, they are 0.9mm. I have not ran 0.9mm but they will engage earlier and allow your clutch bell some slippage. Not sure what slippage is though. I would think that it does the same thing as a slipper clutch would do, slip under load.

No the .9's will slip less, and yes it will engage earlier in the rpm range. Try them out, if you do not like them buy a set of 1.0mm springs.

For how I use the truck, the factory setup was fine for me. It would wheelie when I wanted it to ,always shifted out well into 3 gear and wasn't breaking any diffs. so I was really looking for factory and the rc shop said they were. Will these springs hurt my previous performance much,good or bad?
