I'm running the full Spektrum Smart setup on my Losi DB pro, including the DX5C controller. On 3S, the DX5C is showing 1 cell much much higher than the other 2 (example 3.74, 3.75 and 4.49). The strange part is that when I plug only the balance plug into the checker (XBC100), it shows all 3 cells at 3.7X (which is good). Has anyone experienced this? I rebalanced several times already and still experience this one cell super high

do you have another battery checker or even a volt meter?. to me it looks like charger is showing incorrect voltage but if by chance it is showing true Id take that battery outa my house asap

I'm going to assume that your other cell checker is correct because if you had one cell that was really at 4.5V I'm assuming that battery would be a bit puffy at the very least. That being said I would try and verify that the cell checker is accurate by using a multimeter or some other means to double check the LiPo.

Does it do this behavior with any of your other SMART batteries? Id probably call horizon hobby about it and see if they have anything you can try to see if it will work right. Especially if its even close to be under warranty

So I checked with a multimeter as you guys recommended and every cell shows 3.7x V. The battery is not puffy at all. This "one high cell" issue occurs only when the IC5 plug is connected, whether it's connected to the esc (feeding info to my DX5C) or connected to the XBC100 checker. I'm starting to think it's the IC5 connector that's the issue here, but no clue as to what causes this or how to fix/reset it

I had an issue with a brand new smart battery awhile ago. Everything showed fine on smart charger and battery checker but immediately go to LV when ran in car. Also battery never self discharged like they are advertised to do so. Put in another new battery all good.

Call horizon hobbies tech support...theyve been known to replace items even if they are outside the warranty period

I got the XBC100 smart checker. Its was not working with G2 batteries and been told I need to down load the updater. I did this however the battery checker is not updating. Have anyone had this issue; I would love to know what was done to resolve this issue?
