I have a ESX Ruckus with a Spektrum SRS4220 ESC and a DX2E radio. The truck has a mind of its own when running on rough terrain but handles fine when on pavement. When in the rough the truck will go into a turn and keep doing donuts or just make unpredicted turns. I have turned the AVC adjustment knob on the radio throughout the range. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks

you just can't drive all out with any rc ,theres a time when you want but could it do nope

The gyro is reacting over and over again as the truck bounces around on the rough terrain. Every time the truck is bounced around the gryro tries to counter react and if your going fast thats going to cause the front tires to turn side to side a lot. That combined with the already rough terrain would be my guess. Is there a way you can turn the AVC completely off?

Thanks, This is exactly what is happening. After another test session the truck definitely responds better with AVC adjustment on the radio turned all the way down. A young RC expert was at the park recommended the same as you to disable the AVC. Looks like I need 2 binding plugs to accomplish this. A fact I forgot to mention was this was a 4x4 now operating as a RWD as the FWD was damaged and I don't want to put any more money into this truck. This may also be aggravating the situation.

It is also best to bind when the receiver is setting flat in the way it would be sitting in the radio
tray ,so it doesn't throw the gyro off ,I seen a vid that someone showed that ,they said to make sure
that the receiver is not just dangling outside the radio box while binding ,it will throw the gyro off!..:thumbs-up:
