I don't think the XXL is any wider than the LST2, if so it is very minimal. But as shrode stated, it is extended, which helps keep the front end down.
Dont forget new drive shafts too. they are longer on the XXL.I just bought an e-lst2 roller for $170, and paid about $100 for my first lst2 roller. You can get the lst2 rollers cheap as dirt and the only parts that aren't interchangeable with the xxl are the side rails and main chassis plate. I am extremely happy that I bought the 2 lst2 rollers, because I can use those parts, and then get one or two backup xxl chassis, in case I run out of LST2 chassis. You can buy an xxl chassis with bulks and pins with all the plates new for $50 from ebay. then buy an lst2 roller, and there you have an xxl roller much cheaper than you would any other way.
