I'm wanting to change all the stock stuff in my bully and looking for some good stuff. Want to make it better then it is now. Looking for some ideas. My spending limit is open to whatever. Cuz it's turning into a project. I really want to get into comp.

SOOOOOO MUCH you can do to it.

Electronics, all of it, can be upgraded for way better.

Castle Creations Sidewinder micros x2
300+ oz servo
handwound motors

Chassis swap for a comp chassis.
Light weight wheels.

Tires are something you whill need to swap for sure, those rc4wd tires on the stock bully are crap.
Best 3 tires available for a comper are Rovers (white dot), Sedonas and Losi Boss Claws. Boss claws are the best for someone new to the sport because they have good foams and will work great without different foams. Rovers/sedonas will need custom foams.

Axle parts to lose weight are a must. biggest problem with the bully axles is they are heavy which doesn't work well for a comper.

Check out one of my old bully threads for ideas if you want.

Rc4wd has lighter axle parts.

If you got the money, Vanquish Products are about the nicest wheels you can get in light weight, the SLW line is what you would want.

I'm not the biggest help now since I got out of comping a year or more ago and I prefered Berg axles and did the best builds with them but I'll try to answer what I can. Rccrawler.com in the bully section will have good info too.

I'm looking at getting some slw rim. What benefits dose the .700 size rim have? I like how they set into the tires. Where can I get some derlin plastic from? What size would I get? And I'm trying to look at those sng chassis but the link isn't working.

Just a personal preferance really, the 1" vs the .7 will be the .7 will just pull the tire in alot more at the bead making the tire alot rounder instead of more square on top. I always prefered .7's, the narrower the better for me.

Delrin, for links? I always got my at Mcmaster-carr either 5/16 or 3/8. both work great but 3/8 is hella beefy.

The sng chassis is no longer available, EEM closed shop and I have none to sell either but there are plenty of good chassis available for you application.

Shop RPPhobby.com as much as you can, they are great to deal with.

Check locally to see if you have a plastic store, I dont but I know guys on here who have several locally.

I.don't have a bully but I run Mayhem engineering wheels, there cheaper than vanquish and hold a bead pretty darn good. In fact I ripped a comp cut super swamper tsl on these wheels.
