Doing some research on a Future Build

So a TV show I watch sometimes called Homestead Rescue has this cool old Ford F600 in it, that the main guy owns. The family calls it the Monster Truck. After some digging, and a couple years of people saying 5 different things it could be, I have found it is either a 1978 or 1979 Ford F600.

Yeah, round headlights. That is what was throwing everyone off. Everyone thinks it's a 77 or older. But the Ford trucks above F350, whichbwere the F600, F700, and F800 kept the round headlights til 1980.

This truck has some character too. Like dents, the hanging badge on the fender, and the custom bumper. It fits it's owner's personality though.

And here's the fam. Marty, the ownrr is in the white hat, followed by his son Matt and daughter Misty.

This truck has caught my eye every time I've seen it on the show, and I am happy I finally solved the riddle.

But anyway, I am going to build one in 24th scale if I have to learn Blender myself. But I am talking to a guy that models lots of nice looking bodies, and if he takes it on, it will be available in various scales.

That thing is sick and will be a very cool build, there has got to be a model car or someone who can 3d print a body. It is a true beast. I think 24yep has a F700 build, it may say where he got it at.

I retired from a Ford dealership that sold and worked on F500 and up trucks. I was in parts and service where they were a pain in the backside - half the profit in twice the space.
Never thought about a cool custom built from one! I love it!

I messaged Marty Raney (owner of the red one) in messenger awhile back, just commenting on his home burning down a couple years ago, and surprisingly, he replied. I never thought to ask him about his truck. So I sent him another message yesterday explaining my intention to model up his truck, and I asked him for more pics of it. I doubt he replies, but ya never know.

I am hoping he replies again so I can get some more info on it. If I can get the body done I want to send him a static model of his truck in 24th scale. People send him cool stuff all the time, and I know he'd love a model of his truck. He loves that monster.
