girlfriend bought me that last christmas, and I'm having probs convincer her to let me buy a new Savage or maybe a 1/8 buggy, have to go see my friends backyard adn see what the grass is like lol

anything at all for this truck to make it faster etc? or am i SOL?

shes really not budging on the $500 price for a RTR Savage....so just curious if there is ANY way of making this wal-mart hummer faster.

There's really not much you can do with it since the hard tires and limited suspension won't handle any kind of speed.
One good option would be to put the body on a new Savage. She'll never know the difference.

haha yeah that'd be a good idea....

however we combined both of our bank accts to one...she wants to keep track of what i spend my money on cuz i even wonder where it all goes.

so ill have more money...but shes not letting me spend my money...i even proposed to her and she still won't let me get one, it blows.

Hmm this is a toy truck,I had once a few Tyco R/C buggies. It was funny as I modified themall and installed oil filled shocks, upgraded the motors and installed better electronics.

This however was time consuming and too many get arounds to fit and install the gear well.

The funny part my Tyco Grasshopper ended up almost twice as fast as the stock toy! :boxing: And the 4WD Tyco top of the line buggy(even dont remember the name!) ended with dual Mabuchi 540 motors!

Totally ghetto and was made just for the heck of it.

To amke a long story short if you have time to spare, are a good mechanic and want a challenge you can transform(to a point)this toy into a super ...toy.

Or better get a Traxxas E-Maxx or in nitro calls you a HPI Savage.I would start with a real electric and then progress. As many first timers get nitrio and have a world of problems just getting their engine to run properly.
