Beautiful sunshine and 68f out. I took the family out to play around the back yard.

Well not as much waddling as I wanted to, I just can't waddle as much as I use to.
Yes I am absolutely ready for camping and the Crappie should be coming on in a few weeks.

I got all my fishing gear put back in my truck, I'll load up my pontoon tomorrow. I did too much today.
I can hear a distant voice coming from the shop, I think it's my Xmaxx calling my name.

I'm charging my trolling motor battery as we speak and then I'll charge the camper batteries.
That's the beauty of being retired, my weekends are Monday thru Friday.

It's definitely nice, but can get really boring sometimes.
 
I was forced to retire because of my health which snuck up on me big time.
I wasn't financially comfortable at all but we are doing ok now.
He made and earned his own "fortune". It was always his plan to retire very early. He also chose to retired at a time when his twin boys just started college, and his oldest just finished it.
Healthy, not really old, and financially comfortable. What more can one reasonably hope for?

I wish I could have found a path like that. Good for him, not many these days can achieve that.
