i haven't a clue why it was so flippin' hard to get out ,all i did with the first was heated it in the oven to about 250 degree's and it slid right out ,
the second was a PITA bigtime ,has excellent compression but the kid i got my savy from never EVER cleaned it and the case for 1 had about 1/8th of baked on crud it was like tring to clean a brick ,and when i did get some off i noticed the crack in the block so i said screw it and just dremeled it and split the case .
i tried everything to remove the sleeve with out damaging anything ,heat the tapping it on a oven mit ,heat then 1 then 2 then 3 zipties ,freezing it for about 4 hours then flash heat with a small propane torch .nothing worked
i can not believe it had the compression it does after lookingat the heatsink 1 gallon of fuel and the first 3 rings are real light pink the it goes gradially to the purple from original ,so it must have been run extremely hot a few times to do that kind of damage to the head
i dbl check the compression and with all 3 shims you can not turn it over with 1 finger
so anyway i will stop rambling on, but figured a long post then a lot of smaller 1's
