Build Thread Slash Rebuild

Last summer, I crashed my 80+ mph Traxxas slash 4x4 while doing a speed run. I soon decided to rebuild it and this thread will be the full rebuild of this slash. I have gone through what was left on the car, and about half of it was salvageable. I just rebuilt the servo and ordered parts.

I have that same body. Yours is in much more better condition. Id personally find a new one and keep that one since it's a special edition / discontinued and rare body today.

I have some other bodies that I run too. I usually just use this body for sand drags out in the dunes. The body is almost brand new, I have only raced with it once

It was bent in half and bent the motor mount

it does look to be the lcg chassis for the 4wd

You are correct, it is the lcg chassis

It's been a little while, but I managed to fix almost everything on the slash other than the body posts need replaced. Messed with the gearing a bit and got about 80-90 MPH

Fr tho, if you’re planning on doing anymore speedrunning, I’d get a set of tires that’s made for the street.

I'm going to order some belted tires because they like to blow up on the street
