Hey guys. I’m back from my little hiatus of having my cars away. I started working on my slash, and I noticed that the front a rear track width are not even remotely close. I have the rpm slash rear arms and the rpm extended front slash arms. I thought that the extended arms made it so that all 4 corners can use the same offset and everything?? I’ll post a couple of pics

Longer arms in the front is probably why. And also maybe using a hanger might not be as efficient in calculating it. 🤷‍♂️

Watched a youtube video, idk when. But he put RPM extended front arms on his rustler (2wd) and the fronts were longer than the stock rears and made it funky, like this you have.

I also seen modding Jato arms F/R to make it wider but not sure if trackwidth would / is the same front to rear.

Also like the title, "Slash problems"
- Slashes always have problems you know. 😅 🙃 But not as much has the TT02. Don't tell me how.

I used the longer RPM fronts on my 2wd Stampede and they matched the rear arms' length.

The 2wd Slash comes with the same rear arms as the Stampede, so unless you ended up with Bandit or Drag Slash rear A-arms, I'm confused.

That’s probably what happened

But, I do have the tekno driveshafts for the slash 2nd and they fit fine with the arms that are on there now

I take that back, the Slash uses #2555 rear a-arms and the Rustler/Stampede uses #3655, they are not the same length, as they also use different camber links in the rear. Rustler/Stampede uses 69mm links in front but 82mm in the rear. Slash uses 69mm front and rear.

Yep. Rustler uses longer rear links and arms, but the front rustler arms and links should be the same as the slash. Once I swapped my whole rear end from the rustler into the slash and due to the longer arms, the wheels were rubbing on the body more due to the wheels being more out.

The wide front RPM arms are meant to give the 2WD Stampede/Rustler the same width front and rear.

The 2WD Slash starts out the same width front and rear, so adding the wide front RPM arms to a Slash will result in what you have.

That's what I thought as well. Stock 2wd Slash uses 9mm offset rear wheels, and the front wheels are offset 13mm?

I love reading these conversations and learning new things. 😜

I have longer rpm a arms in front and in the back. I tried in front first but feels better with both.
