I bought one of those Integy motor fan/heatsink deals and it does not fit snuggly to the motor there is a little bit of play. Has anyone else had this issue? I was thinking a Zip-Tie or something to keep it pressed firmly against the motor, but any and all ideas are welcome.

Thanks

Sorry for the picture size I will try to resize it.

Re-sized the picture so now you can easily see the little gap between the motor and the heatsink.

Integy parts are not the best fit IMO. I had the same problem. Try and bend it so it fits a bit more snugly around the can.

Once u get a closer fit use thermal paste to increase the surface area that touches the motor to heatsink.

I bent the heatsink so it kind of clips on and then I used a high temp zip tie to keep it snug against the motor, I haven't run it yet, but hopefully it will work. I might change out the zip tie for an adjustable hose clamp for durability.
