I picked up a Slash 2WD that i want to make into a minor project, so, my first question is, does anyone besides RPM make blue control arms in plastic? I know i can get aluminum arms in blue, but, for the control arms, i would prefer to stick with plastic. I'm going to also do the steering blocks and rear hubs in blue, but those will be aluminum, so, Integy, GPM, or Traxxas? I'm trying to do this with as low a budget as possible, so I'm leaning towards the Integy, but i have never had any experience with them, and i only want to do this once. I also found this set: https://www.ebay.com/itm/313723211722?hash=item490b5c4fca:g:QS4AAOSwLxJhYRSl&LH_BIN=1 but i have no clue who makes them. As for shocks, has anyone tried these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/402908044163

Traxxas makes colored hd arms.

I would take flm, strc, and traxxas over Integy or ebay brands.

I didnt link flm as they are not anodized. I never used Integy, but heard and seen pictures. I am curious as to gpm, and may try them in the future.

The more brands, the more shades of blue you will have. Some may accept it but my brain can't.

I got these aluminum hobby park caster blocks and steering blocks for my rustler they work great. I got them 2 months ago for 25 dollars. Now they are 14 dollars. If you get aluminum caster and steering blocks - for the screw pin put threadlocker/Loctite on the treads because the pin will eventually come out. If you have a pin with e clips at the end you shouldn't have a problem. On both of my cars I am running RPM arms front and rear, RPM front bulkhead and bumpers. Even though I never broke an arm on my cars I upgraded to RPM because I know that their plastic is more flexible. That is better for me because I am planning to race both of my cars and it will help on the jumps. Traxxas does make blue arms as they said. Traxxas rear blue arms Traxxas front blue arms For shocks on my slash I am running all different kinds of shocks, In the front I am running the stock ultra shocks with 30wt in them. In the rear I'm running these hobbypark shocks with 30wt. Also I did run the traxxas big bore shocks one time. One of my rear big bores broke at the ball joint where it goes into the arm.

Are those Traxxas arms stronger than stock though? I have heard from a lot of guys around here to use the RPM set: https://www.ebay.com/itm/122041694403 but, i have also heard that RPM arms tend to bend over time.

I learned the lesson along time ago about aluminum and loc-tite. I have a Racers Edge Pro2/Team C TS2 (the Slash is actually to replace that truck, since absolutely nothing is available anymore for it) with aluminum rear hubs and front steering blocks (i never use aluminum caster blocks) and the screws kept coming out every time i raced it, so i loc-tited every screw that went into aluminum on that truck. That truck though is the only truck i have ever done aluminum anything on, and that was a few years ago.

Edit: A general disclaimer, since the way i originally wrote that, it looked like i was talking about having only one Team C/Ofna/Racers Edge truck. I actually have one Racers Edge Pro2, and 2 Team C TS2's, all with the same aluminum Team C steering blocks and rear hubs. Too bad i can't use them on the Slash. That would make that part really easy.
