American Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals...or something very similar to that.

I don't think the ASPCA will step in...we raised and ate literally hundreds of the cute little guys growing up. Geez could be rich!

NC..as far as wine goes with rabbit....MD 2020!

I donno about you guys but I grew up in a house where we went huntin an fishin. Taking a fish out of the water, guttin him and fryin him up for dinner doesn't bug me. Field dressing a deer out in the woods only to bring him home to put on the dinner plate doesn't bug me either. I had a BB gun when I was 6 and a pellet gun when I was 10. I was told shoot anything you like as long as you eat it. I poop you not. I shot a rabbit with my pellet gun when I was 15. Gutted it, skinned it and gave it to mom to make for supper. It was a big ass rabit too. I tried like hell to tan the hide, but ended up throwing it away when I failed.

I'm with NCNitro, when's dinner?

honestly where my parents grew up in Guyana,South America if you killed something it was worth currying rabbit is one of the many things.

When I lived in Maine my grandfather and me went out one night and I shot a bear. We skinned it and hung the skin inthe barn for as long as I can remember. We made bear mince meat out of most of it. Horrible tasting meat, and stringy too.

Now deer venison, and deer venison sausage, good stuff. I like goose, too.

I've only had rabbit once, and it's true that it tastes like chicken. Must be close to dinner time, because I'm hungry! LOL!!!!!!!!
