Should i buy one?

Hey all, been looking on ebay, gettin a fuel filter. Came across these cheap aluminium 'tuned' pipes for 1/8 buggies. They are going for around $10. Do you think they look ok? Would they improve performance at all? Will i need to re tune?
Most importantly are they worth it??

Type 'rc fuel filter' and click the one that says team titan.
Then scroll down and you will find more items, go to 1/8 buggy tuned pipe. What you think??

I'll be honest with you. If something is going for $10 that you'd expect to pay way way way more for then there's a reason it's $10. I'd be worried about the quality and durrability of a $10 pipe.

I pulled the item number out of the first link. Mine blocks anything from that domain in your first link, so ebay links never work well for me.
