Can anyone tell me how to put on this servo saver? It has a link with it an I'm not sure where to put it or if it needs it..

Traxxas part # 2742 appears to be the rod that you may need to replace.

Btw, I do not own a Slash. This info is readily availible in the exploded view of your truck. This is where I found your info.

You really should be looking at this diagram for your info. It will help you to learn and understand the mechanics of your truck.

You may not need to replace the rod since the servo arm location doesn't change with the new servo saver.

You should compare the length of the 2 rods to be sure.

My guess is that the rod is bling and so is optional.

That is one of the absolute easiest trucks to put the servo and servo saver on. As for the link, it doesn't fit. You have to use the stock one. Just an fyi, that servo saver isn't the best.
