I'm just going to throw the data down and then ask the questions rather than ramble on with a story.

Goal: To gain a little more power while keeping temps optimum
Engine: RB CE .21 3 port
Fuel: Trinity Monster HP 20%
Glow Plug: OS#8
Temps: 240ish all day (full-mid tank), 260 at nearly empty
Weather: VA weather, 80's, some humidity
Track type: technical, short, using very little throttle

Notes: the HSN setting is very sensitive and leaning it out even a little raises temps to the 260-270 range. I have good low end punch and decent speed. Plenty of smoke and some raw fuel evident on the left rear tire.

Question: Leaving everything I have the way it is, what will leaning out the LSN do for me in the way of temps, low end punch, top end speed. I'm reluctant to touch the HSN as stated earlier, as it's very sensitive. I'm realy interested in LSN settings.

Thanks.

i forget, if its a long tuned pipe or a short tuned pipe that increases power in the low RPM range.

Short coned pipe will increase low end punch. I have a custom pipe and header you can try this weekend if you like, it'll only take 5 minutes to install. As far as the needle settings go leaning the lsn and msn, if applicable, will increase your punch. Believe me you will knowwhen you've gotten too lean on the lsn and msn. While I know you don't want to tinker with your HSN I would suggest richening it up slightly because leaning out the mid and bottom needles are going to drive your temps up.
