SCX30 Terrain made from aluminum and bed sheet

Random person on reddit came up with a bed sheet and two layers of aluminum tape. Crinkles nicely for texture, formable and load bearing enough for an scx30.

Just checked my LHS and many more around my country, no stock of SCX30 till mid March, just because I now want one..
So no point making my crawling hill yet.........

I kind of don't understand what the aluminum foil does. My sheets do this all the time.
I can take the sheet off my bed and stand it on edge against the wall like a sheet of plywood.
