I am going to order These clutch shoes, at least I am planning on it.

What do you all think?
I also need to know what springs to use for these shoes.
These will be for my savage with OS30VG

How important are a certain name brand of clutch bell bearings?
I've ordered some before, but I can't remember what kind.

Thanks for your help!

Yea, they seem really nice.

I have never purchased a clutch bell, clutch shoes, or clutch springs so I am kinda lost here.

Get mugen 1mm springs for them. Those are good clutch shoes. Just don't use the weights in them.

As for bearings...I've never had to replace any so i don't know :\

I've run boca green seal, avid revolutions, duratrash, ofna, losi and fast eddy's bearings.

OFNA, Losi and FastEddy bearings all hold up about the same. Fast Eddie's are the cheapest. Although can't seem to find them at www.teamfasteddie.com anymore.

Then it would be boca green seal, avid's and duratrash.

When I shop for bearings I always ask if they are ABEC rated. If not, they are poor quality.

They have an excellent article on CB bearing installation, it's not as simple as throw in some new bearings. Go to the FAQ section.
