OK you may have a needle adjustment. What engine is this? YOu really should go to the home page and find out what the factory settings are and reset them to that.IMO of course.

No grinding, no visual damage. This is the pre 2.5. Thanks for the advise. I did stop driving it for fear of more damage. Will Let you know what for future reference. Thanks again.

This is a Megatech .16 motor. Any help on factory carb settings?

DOn't know the Factory settings of that motor. Never worked on one. You should ask someone who does. Ask NitroAddict he did a great carb tuning article. That article is lost cuz I have been looking for it myself. Ask direct questions and give him specifics!! Good luck!
