Bash, Fix, Repeat..
i guess this goes here anyway here goes...
i got this venom 1200 rx hump pack on my buggy.. i have went through 2 (almost 3) radios on this thing and i think its the battery.. i discharged it and recharged it about 5 times to see if that would help.. i use a set of chevy low beam headlight lamps wired in series to discharge.. and it leaves the pack about 2.4v with no load.. when i recharge the pack useing the vision peak charger (thanks again eddy!!) when it stops the readout shows 7.2 - 7.4 volts.. again not under load.. is this right?? I've heard that anything over 6v will kill a rx but this is voltage with no draw on it..it drops to like 5.5-5.8 if i put it on the mega and turn on the discharge.. the pack looks new and there are no frayed wires.. sometimes the radio will last 2 tanks (2nd one) and sometimes 8 - 10 (3rd one i took off when it started glitching so it wouldnt fry it) any ideas?? anyone know how to see if the pack is still good?? cmon electric guys!!! you guys were discussing the inner workings and trace layout of a hand built peak charger... i know you got some knowledge of this stuff!!! HELP ME PLEASE befor i blow up another radio!!!
