Hi!! My rustler xl-5 doesn't turn on anymore, the light turns on on the ESC but as soon as i let it go (button on the esc) it turns off...any idea? Is it the receiver or the ESC the prob. or even the motor maybe??:help:

I'm guessing you tried to use the transmitter right? The only thing similar to this (that I've experienced) is that when the ESC is turned on, it reads the throttle position on the transmitter, and sets up a neutral position. So when the trigger is moved, it begins moving. If it isn't that, you might what to send it in.

What do you mean? I want to know if the solution works, if it doesn't we can go into trouble shooting. No, this is not a joke, I am not laughing, are you laughing? I don't hear any laughing, I guess it isn't a joke.

I never saw this thread before. My Slash had this issue. Turned out to be a bad contact in the button. Had just the smallest piece of crud under it. A good blast of electric motor cleaner and a little drying out and she was fine.
