rustler upgrades

My lhs is going out of buisness. Therefor everything is on sale. They are closing the doors today. I sold my tmaxx and want to spend about $50 on upgrades. I already have the vxl system. I was thinking about the rpm bumpers. My clutch hubs are stripped so I'm getting those in steel $12. So basicly $38 for upgrades. Would it be worth it to just get plastic and save $8 or upgrade. I have good tires and don't want new ones. I'm looking for solid upgrades that will help hard offroad bashing.

^^^That's a big +1 on that! I have just upgraded almost everything on my Rustler to RPM. It may cost me a little more now but it will save me lots in stock parts replacements later. The only thing I have yet to replace are the castor blocks, but they are in the works!
