Broken one ways has nothing to do with the person whos doing it though.

Yes they do. If you try to rotostart a flooded motor you will break the one-way.

Trying to pull start a flooded motor will probably result in a broken pullstart string.

Like I've said, I've burnt up gallons of fuel threw one roto start on 3 different Rc's and I havnt had any problems. And I've never heard of if you try to roto start a flooded motor your one way will go bad. You relize that the max you suppose to hold the button is 7 seconds right? Says right on the roto start, so maybe that was your problem. Or maybe ya just had a bunk one. Who knows. All I know is I like mine, but sometimes it does suck to have to lug it around, but IMO is well worth it.

I do not use a rotostart. I use a pull start for my truck and a starter box for my touring car.

I am just going by what I read in the Savage section of the forum. People hydrolock (flood), try to start, and then bust the one-way. The original poster in the thread said he is breaking a lot of pullstart strings. To do that he must be trying to pull a hydrolocked (flooded) motor. If he rotos under the same conditions something has to give and my guess is the OWB will break.
