Thinking about useing 2speed controls and 4 channel radio to have control over front and rear wheels. And was wondering would it be safe to hook both into reciever or would that cause a overload? Or thinking about useing e maxx speed control. With after market e maxx motors. Will e maxx motors work on super cloud buster? Thanks for your input.

I don't think the 2 separate ESC's are a very good idea....you won't have the center driveline but you will have the potential for one motor to be spinning faster than the other...the slower motor will either drag and just take juice from your packs really fast....and heat up the ESC....or snap teeth on the pinion or gearbox...

please elaborate....I'm envisioning 2 one bearings and wouldn't that sort of ruin the rock crawlers low end torque?
I'd really like to know if this is possible....I keep milling the 4 channel independent control setup over in my mind and see it just being a difficult design to do....
and which one could you use? most crawlers use TLT/TXT or clodbuster axles....is there a one way that fits them??

2 FAST 4 U E Maxx motors might work but your better off with stock Clod 540 motors, or lathe motors.

Plaid I think the owb is used to let only one axle pull and the other freewheel, the Twin Force uses one on the front of it's tranny, it's 4wd in forward but only two wheel drive in reverse. I think thats what they use but I'm not positive. It seems like it would only work in either forward or reverse but like I said, I'm not sure.

IMO clod axles would work well with a dual esc set up because it doesn't use drive shafts, you could just drag one axle or reverse one axles as needed.
