Help,
I've attached a photo of two batteries. The small battery came with my Redcat Ridgerunner with the

Mini Tamiya Connector and need to convert to Deans - T Plug

As you can see from the photo the I have it plugged into a multi cord adapter to charge but the red and black are switched around. So to charge this battery do I need to switch the wires on the battery or the cord adapter. And if I do then it would be wrong for when it's plugged into the car. And if it needs switched those it need switched on the 3S battery? I'm so confused, don't want to burn up $40 batteries.. Would like to run the 3S battery in my Ridgerunner, is there a better way to do this that I'm missing. Help, can't afford to burn a battery.

There are all kinds of adaptors premade for just about every connector out there. Just pay attention to positive and negative/male and female... you'll be fine. Do you have any soldering skills? Opting to go with one type of connector would be a good move.

The lithium ion battery is backwards, pay close attention to how it is plugged in on that photo you posted. You have a black wire going to a red and a red going to a black. Unplug that thing ASAP and swap the pins around (if you can) so positive/red goes to red.
I would also invest in a soldering iron and ditch all the T-plugs because they aren't that good. Over time they have diminished in quality and don't carry a lot of current compared to a real "Deans" plug. Choose either the EC 3 or 5 connectors or the XT 60/90 connectors. I have recently heard the EC type plugs have a slightly larger pin than the XT's which makes them a better connecter as far as current/amps are concerned.
