That's cause @OnwardGuinevere did an amazing job on that build. Makes me want to build one 🤣
yeah they put some time and effort into that mater rig, mines just got votes right now just cause i was first post, I'm probly one of the very few that doesn't care about winning lol, theres lots of rigs out there better than mine, BUT i doubt their rigs been thru the hell mine has lololol
on a side note... that new jconcepts anvil body has been haunting my dreams... i needs it but shipping is twice the cost of the body fml.

@majin and @WickedFog, building Mater was just a result of my 2.5 year old (at the time) loving all the Cars movies and her mother's small obsession of wondering if she can make a drive able Mater 😄.

The real shout-out should be to the guy on eBay who made the 3D model, he did a fantastic job.

I love @floe's Infraction truck, that thing looks amazing.

The Anvil body is cool, haven't decided what kind of paintjob I want to put on it.

I've partly always wanted a street rig, but not sure what I'd do with it.
My problem with those rigs is they are tire eaters. A few packs if you're lucky and it's time for new tires. Unless you drive it like grandma.

Ye

Oh yeah, they definitely run through tires. I doubt I'd get one, they just look very cool.
I enjoy nerding out the Scale crawler stuff ;)

If you put down some cones, garden hose, lengths of rain gutter, and plow discs, and try to turn laps while staying within the lines it's kind of almost like... wait for it... road racing (gasp!). LOL!

I would typically get 2 weekends out of a set of ProLine Road Hawgs on my Kyosho SuperTen GP on med-textured asphalt, each day would be 8-10 tankfuls, which works out to about 320-400 laps. I also 'belted' my tires and avoided drifting (which is NOT the fast way around).

Yeah, the Infractions would be fun for that if you drove them that way. You'd probably have to tone down the power though to keep from ripping it loose. I do love the look of them though. Especially the half cab converted ones.

Nah - just gotta learn how to drive it. I remember the Security Forces patrol showed up and asked how fast our cars would go. I asked if his radar would pick up something so small, and his eyes lit up and said, "Let's find out!" (Man, was he bored on a Saturday morning, or what) So he parked all the way down the other side of the parking lot - Lewis ran his Yokomo YR4 up and it clocked at 56mph. Then I fired up the SuperTen, took off, the 2-speed kicked in, and he clocked it at 68mph. I might've gotten a little more out of it with a bit more parking lot, but that was plenty fine for me. The cop asked if he could take a few laps, so I let him. He had a huge grin on his face and kept saying that it was harder than it looked to keep it on the track and still be fast.

My buddy had a hopped up Kyosho Vanning back in '89 that was clocked by the local police department doing 80 mph down main street 😅 The chief of police was a really cool dude and made it happen.

Yeah, that is the coolest paint job I have seen on one.

Thanks dudes 😃

I got a half cab coming up 😃

It's neck and neck.

There's some cool rigs that deserve more votes.

Have you voted yet? You can make a difference. Your vote counts.

I only voted for @Kimmie28 car this month because I think the paint job is amazing and the story that goes with it won me over, hands down.
Good luck everyone!!! 😎
