Anthony and Cleopatra are goldfish. Their bowl fell and smashed, leaving them out of water.

If that were the case, there would be no reason for the broken bowl.

EDIT: Sheesh, he's back, and he nailed it. You got it Candyman.
The rest of you, make note of this....when it comes to puzzles, you need to think outside the bowl....or box.

In the middle of a green field lie two pieces of coal, a carrot, and a scarf. When they are discovered by the local boys they are not at all surprised at finding such unusual items in such a place. Nobody specifically placed them there, so how did they get there?

Funny thing is that I was just waking from a little post-lunch catnap (yeah, I have a tough job) when it dawned on me.

ok one died of natural causes and the other died of heart attack due to the loss of the loved one and fell and nocked the bowl down

They were the remains of a snowman the kids made a few days ago before the snow melted?

Me thinks thou should'st refresh at a timelier rate.

marauder has it...the snowman. You're getting ahead of me. Maybe I should find tougher ones.

Whilst hiking in the mountains, a woman discovers a locked cabin with three people dead inside. How did they die?

They were upset that their goldfish had died and their snowman melted so they all // their wrists.

Door was locked from the inside.

OOoohh, so close, marauder. LMAO!

I've got to run some errands, so I'll be out for a while. Don't google this, but give it some logical thought. It's one of my favorites from several years ago. It all makes perfect sense.

Just remember, it's a puzzle. Think OUTSIDE the bowl.

If we are referring to the cabin of an aircraft...again (thinking outside the bowl)...then they died from the impact of the aircraft hitting the ground during a crash....just saying...

they were scared of the 'squatch and locked themselves inside, only to starve to death from fear of going out....

His parachute failed. The ring in his hand is the release ring.

Yup.
I thought that one would go quickly.

A man died and went to Heaven. There were millions of other people there. They were all naked and all looked as they did at the age of 21. He looked around to see if there was anyone he recognized. He saw a couple and he knew immediately that they were Adam and Eve. How did he know?
