Haha Rolex I keep finding all your riddles on the same site.

No reason to play if you're going to look up the answer.

Beason has it right. No navels on either one of them.

Deep in a forest the body of a man wearing a swimsuit, snorkel and facemask was found. The nearest lake was 8 miles away and the ocean was over 50 miles away. How had he died?
Rumor has it that this is a true story, and it's been an urban legend for many years.

I know, I only Google'd the ones I didn't know, but didn't reply with an answer. THAT is cheating :D.

Edit: Question. Were all the items in the riddle found together?

That one I definitely know, but I'll let others try to sort that one out.

Being the lazy folks they are in Deer county they drug the body from their jurisdiction into the neighboring country of WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot where they left it to dry and made an anonymous tip to investigators in WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot county who then sent a search party out and discovered the cadaver. They later ruled that Mr John Doe was not a drown victim at all, merely a frat boy who was acting out on a dare to high dive off a 3-story building into a swimming pool but twelve beers too far into the case he realizes it wasn't such a good idea as he fell short of the mark by only 2 1/2 feet. Furthermore they found Mr. Doe to have a pair of ear plugs in his left pocket but he was deaf so that made no sense to the story but we threw it in there...

anyway, this one is really bugging me...I can't figure it out.

Forget google. I know all these. I'm a bit of a puzzle freak. I'll wait and watch until you come up with one I haven't riddled over already for the sake of the many.
Remember kids...it's a RIDDLE...a play on words..a trick... worded to mislead you . In the wrong direction you will go if think of it logically you do not!!

That's hysterical, Marauder...LMAO

Thanks to the rest of you who are familiar with this urban legend for letting the others think about it.

I also deleted the posts of the new puzzle since this one isn't finished yet.

Absolutely, and THIS one is purely logic. You need to think about all the options here.

Correct....or he had been scooped up by a fire fighting airplane while diving in the nearby lake.
Apparently a true story, found by firefighters battling the forest fire.

Joe wants to go home, but he can't because a man wearing a mask is waiting for him. What is the problem?

The man in the mask is Joe's father and he's wearing the mask to scare Joe off because Joe did something bad.
