lol I did according to manual the issue is the manual doesn’t say to lock tight the screw for the piston to the shaft🤣

i’ll be taking apart and cleaning the car after this weekend and during the rebuild i’ll use some

When taking the shock shafts out this time around, clean the shaft/screw threads thoroughly. Apply threadlocker on piston retaining screws... let cure 24 hours before finishing shocks. If I'm in a rush to build a kit in a 24 hour time frame, and the kit uses screws to secure shock pistons, I'll pull the shock bags out and do the pistons on the shafts first.

racing with this car is done for now, I finished 2nd in a 3 person 4wd sct class lol but it was still fun I was getting faster by the end of the day but the guy who won was a seasoned racer and 3 seconds a lap faster than me lol

I look forward to the carpet season and will keep this updated when I work on it
