Revo Carb and linkage problem! Help!

My revo carb is not opening all the way. When I put my finger by the set screw in the top of the throttle arm and pull the carb open it slides nice and free. If the torque is applied down by the ball on the arm where the linkage is then the carb binds up at about 3/4 open and never makes it to full open, that's not good. Anyone ever experience this? I don't wanna over work a cervo on a new truck. Any ideas? Please help!
 
I've got it working, I took the carb apart and checked everything. I think the angle of the throttle arm changed in a tumble. Idk tho, I still feel like its not quite right.
 
It can be pretty fiddly on a revo. You have to twist the carb just right then adjust the arm on the carb just so. Replacing the z wire with a threaded rod and using a ball end will help reduce slop. Also, replacing the pivot bushings with bearings will reduce slop even more. Then your not using up servo travel to deal with slop.
