My resolution's this year...

Like.. Lesson said... stop buying random RC stuff that I do not really need.

Get better at supporting my wife during and after the pregnacy. I have been so cought up with school and work lately that I have shown little sympathy toward her and her ever expanding belly.

Other than that... just keep up with the staus quo.

Happy New Year everyone!!!

I think I'll stop adding bling to my Savage, and actually take it out and start it.....well, I have another delivery of alloy parts on the way, so I can't do that yet.

I'd also like to stop procrastinating. I'll start working on that in another week or two.

By the way, for the rest of you, tomorrow's meeting of procrastinators anonymous has been put off for at least another month.

Lose 10 lbs. I lost 30 lbs in the last three years, 10 lbs this year should be attainable.

Start a new one off RC project. Todays offerings are on the blah side, I'd like to do something along the lines of one of RC Jack's builds, but with brushless motors and lipos.

Cut back on smoking. I'm up to 1.5 packs a day, if I can get down to .5 a day I'll be able to quit...next year. lol

Is he the one that built Pie Wagon and Donut Patrol...Sick trucks!

Yep that be him. IMO the best RC fabricator/machinist I've seen on the 'net. The stuff he did in his basement workshop is nothing short of amazing.

He posted a lot of his progress here about 2 years ago. Does he have his own site?
His work is nothing less than stunning.

back to resolutions...

1.Fish more (something I always say I'm going to do)
2.Race more (or at least take out the r/c's
3.Go to college (UW Stevens Point)
4.Be nicer to the family

If it's who I'm thinking of, he went through a nasty divorce and had to sell all of his stuff or his wife was going to end up with it. At least I think that's what he posted at the time. Sad deal to... your right Rolex, seeing his custom parts and trucks was very humbling. That guy was almost an artist with a lathe...

I want to second TJ's resolution. actually USING my r/c's. My buggy never saw a drop of fuel after I got the sleeve pinched. My Maxx got limited play after I busted it up while on vacation. I bashed with my M18 quite a bit though. I feel like my collection is turning into a "collection" which just isn't the point for me.

Probably the hardest thing for me to do is sticking to one project at a time. something else always catches my eye in the meantime.. then that's just another unfinished car. Well now all of my vehicles will run except the newest one. I need to keep it that way.

All this talk about running again makes me eager for springtime. All I'm doing is adding bling to the Savage, just to keep working on it.
I'm looking forward to getting back to burning a gallon or two a week.

Plus one for that........I desperately trying to narrow my focus to two rigs..........but I always see another one I NEED....right now O fighting the temptation to get a 18R or 18B for the new carpet track at the LHS....I saw them run the other day...and now I have to have one....

the fight continues.....;)

Plus one for that........
Yeah I'm another one. Started a big project. Almost had the bench cleaned off so I could work on it and went to something else. Now I'm looking at everything I have started or planned to build.

Why do we do that?

Want to fly this year.
Need to cut back on my smoking.
Have a few beers with some of the guys here? Lexington sounds great. Lock the chickens and the shine up Woodie. We are coming. =devil

They're fun little buggers. I have an 18r and an 18t, both cost more than a new Revo with all the after-market goodies on them. If you're going to race only on the carpet, I'd recommend the Carbon Fiber chassis upgrade and the X-ray m18 shocks.
