I don't know why, but people always decide to make New Year's resolutions to quit something, change something or set a new goal for the coming year.

So, let's hear 'em....

I need to keep up last years resolution, to keep losing weight and eating better. I balloned up to 245!!! at the start of '07. Was down to 220 by June/july, and just tapered off and stopped going to the gym eating crappy again,ECT. So getting down to 200 lbs (or under)is my "goal" for the new year.

I suppose I'm gonna try to stop buying r/c stuff that I really don't need. I've been doing pretty well the last half of '07 but sometimes it tough.. I just like to buy stuff sometimes.

Mine is to get up when my alarm goes off and not hit the snooze button a million times. Usually I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off cause I got up 45 min. late.

Pretty simple one, but I hate to wake up!

i have a few....
lose some weight...roughly 20 pounds.
decide on what RC to buy, then actually get it and keep it for longer than 2 months. :)
lastly, actually keep these resolutions past january. :)

Eat a lot and gain more weight.

I figured there was no point in bsing myself LOL

I love my dip and I love my beer; I'm good at those two so I'm sticking with, damnit! Outside of that, here it goes:

1. Get a new job. Love working at the rink, but my family is suffering. Time to put my selfish desires aside and do what is best for them.

2. Race more. Jet is constantly asking me to meet him to race and it's time I make the time to meet a good friend I met THROUGH THIS VERY FORUM and race, damnit! I invested the money in two race-worthy rigs!

3. Get my wife's mini-van into the shop for a top-down service! I'm not trying to restore a mini-van by any stretch, but she's always put others in front of herself, so I'm going to take her ride in for a complete overall and get the little things fixed (for example, her driver's side window motor is out.)

4. That the next RCNT Bash be in Lexington, KY to honor Woodie for starting the site and to allow more of us to attend. There are so many folks I truly want to meet and shake hands with.

5. That members and visitors to this site respect the English language and leave the I'm speak behind!

6. That everyone on this site, active members and those that have fallen by the wayside, have a safe and prosperous 2008. The years seem to go by so quickly the older I get. Let everyone enjoy the year!

To all my friends here, my sincerest wishes to you all in 2008! May all your dreams come true!

Man, I am sooo down with this. It seems like every year we try to squeeze one in but we just don't allow enough time for planning. I'm down for Lexington

1. Lose the 50 lbs I tried to lose last year......fought (ate) all year and remained the same.

2. Narrow my focus to two RCS, for racing, and actually show up and race them.

3. Realign my business to a 40% percent residual income base up from 20%.

4. Do something of value with my wife and children at least once a week.

5. Commit random acts of kindness on those around me that I do not yet know.

I know..... sappy...but get over it.

I'm going to shoot the first SOB that cuts me off in 2008!

I love attainable goals!

1) Stop being nice to people at work.
2) Start being nicer to my wife. (should be easier since 1 will help)
3) Not hinder my wife while she attempts to quit smoking for the 7th time.

I could add "Lose weight" to that list, but the only one that may really happen is #1, so I don't want to fail at more than two.

EDIT:
Ok... maybe I'll try to at least accomplish the last two. My wife has been pretty good about the whole RC hobby gig.

I dont know what mine would be? I guess If I had lets say three, I had to stick to it would be something like this.

1. Continue loosing weight, down 15 since I started UPS.
2. Stick to what I say I'm going to do, when it comes to friends, and not bail on them.
3. Be nicer to my parents, espically my mom.

I could probally say more but theres no point, it probally wont happen anyway lol. Happy new year to all.

1. Lose another 25-30lbs, I'm down 40 from this time last year but I don't recommend my method and hoping I won't be using it this year.

2. Continue trying to be the best husband/father I can be.

3. Get back to actually driving/racing my Savage.

My resolution will be to actually start USING my R/C's again..... Been awhile since I took em out...
