I have been looking for a couple hrs trying to find a free Registry Editor program but all I can find are ones that just scan your pc and dont repair them. They find over 400 wrong lol anyway does anyone know of one I can download that is a full version that will fix these problems? I dont care if its just a trial version or not thanks

Thats where I got mine, It has always been free and worked fine for me. TIP: try running te Windows Defragmentor. It also scans the registry and fixes the most blatant problems, like missing entries.

Which version of windows? a good command is scanreg. Type that in the command prompt under an administrative account. That'll scan your registry for errors, and also back it up.

command not found, I'll wager... There is a like-command, I'll have to find out what it is...

Ah, here it is. Appears the scanreg command was done-away with in ME and up, and therefore integrated into System Restore. However, if you type sfc /scannow, that scans the registry AND the system files.
